Tiles or broadloom
Carpet tile costs about 15–25% more and lets you replace a stained square. Broadloom still lasts 20+ years.
Why it belongs with the pews
New pews on a tired floor don't yet feel like the room is cared for. Doing both in one trip is the Core package. Masterpiece adds wood refresh and one rendering.
Do you subcontract flooring?
No. Our flooring crew are Sharpe’s employees, the same as our upholstery crew.
Will we miss a Sunday?
No. Most churches do pews week one and flooring week two, scheduled around services.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. 25 years on flooring workmanship.
Which is better for sound?
Roll carpet usually absorbs more sound than tile, which can matter in a lively sanctuary. Many churches use roll carpet in the sanctuary and tile in high-spill rooms.
Do you subcontract flooring?
No. Our own flooring crew installs it.
Roll carpet or carpet tile?
It depends on acoustics, traffic, and how you want to replace stained areas later. We walk that through with the committee.
Can flooring run with pew work?
Yes. Core and Masterpiece packages exist so the floor and pews finish together.
What should we measure before asking for a flooring quote?
The platform, the aisles and the under-pew areas, plus notes on transitions at the altar and doors. Photos of those edges help.
