New vs. restored
Restored pews keep the history and cost about a third of new. New pews are the right call when bodies are split, undersized, or the layout has to change.
Can we choose the wood and stain?
Yes. We offer multiple woods and stains, and you pick the end style and fabric.
Can new pews include kneelers or bookracks?
Yes. Bookracks, kneelers, and cup holders can be specified with the pews.
Should we buy used pews instead?
Used pews can save money, but they need inspection, often need legs re-cut to your floor slope, and usually need reupholstery or refinishing. Factor that in before you buy.
How long do new pews take?
About 3–4 months, and Sharpe’s delivers and installs them.
Is there a warranty?
New pews carry our lifetime pew workmanship warranty.
New pews or recover?
Recover when the frames are sound. Replace when the frames are failing or the layout must change.
Do you install what you deliver?
Yes. Sharpe’s delivers and installs the pews as part of the project.
