Pew fabrics · Colors
Church pew fabric colors for your sanctuary.
Browse the fabric lines we work from, by collection and by color. Build a short list here, then we send samples so your committee can choose in your own room.
How to use this page
Choosing pew fabric is one of the most visible decisions a church makes. The color will sit in front of the congregation every Sunday for years, so it is worth taking the time to choose it well.
Start by browsing a collection and narrowing to a color family that suits your room. Note the names of the swatches you like. When you request a quote, tell us those names and we will send samples so the committee can see the real fabric in the sanctuary.
Screen colors are only a guide. Your monitor, your phone and the light in your sanctuary all change how a fabric looks. Treat this page as a starting point, not the final word.

Color coordinations
See these fabrics paired with carpet, LVT and paint
Eight calm sample boards that put our pew fabrics together with flooring and Sherwin-Williams wall colors.
Planning
Choosing a color the committee can agree on
Start with the room, not the swatch. Carpet, wall color, wood tone and window glass all shape how a fabric reads. Choose fabric that works with what is staying.
Check the light. Stained glass and morning sun warm a room; north light cools it. Look at samples in the sanctuary at the time you worship.
Think about the wood. Dark pew ends and light pew ends pull fabric in different directions. Hold samples against the actual end panel.
Plan with the carpet. If new carpet is coming too, choose both together so the floor and the pews do not fight.
Keep the short list short. Two or three finalists make for a faster vote than a table full of swatches.
Write the names down. Swatch names make it easy to ask for exactly the samples you want with your quote.
Upholstery or cushions
Fabric choice depends on the work. When we reupholster pews, we use 4-way stretch commercial fabric and press it on with our on-site press, so it wraps the seat front and the corners cleanly. Read more about pew upholstery.
Our pew cushions are olefin. They are loose and reversible, and you can choose a rolled or boxed front. If your pews have no padding today, or the existing fabric is still sound, cushions can be the simpler path. Read more about pew cushions.
Not sure which you need? Tell us about your pews when you ask for a quote and we will walk through both.
Questions committees ask about fabric
Are these the actual fabrics you install?
These are the fabric lines and colors we work from. Tell us the names you like and we will confirm them with your quote. We send samples so the committee can see the real cloth before anyone votes.
Why does a swatch look different on my screen?
Phones and monitors shift color, and every sanctuary has its own light. Use this page to build a short list, then judge the samples in your own room in daylight.
Can we get samples?
Yes. We send samples with the quote. Pick a few favorites here and tell us which ones you want to see in person.
What fabric are your pew cushions made from?
Our pew cushions are olefin. They are loose and reversible, and you can choose a rolled or boxed front.
What fabric do you use for pew upholstery?
For reupholstery we use 4-way stretch commercial fabric, pressed on with our on-site press so it wraps the seat front and corners cleanly.
How many colors should the committee look at?
Fewer than you think. Two or three finalists that suit the carpet, the walls and the wood make for a faster, friendlier vote than a table full of swatches.
Can you help us choose?
Yes. Tell us about your carpet, wall color, wood tone and windows. If the room is changing more than the pews, a rendering of your own sanctuary can help the committee see the result before it decides.
Ready
Found a few you like?
Send us the names. We will quote your pews and send samples so the committee can see the real fabric in your sanctuary.
