Church Stained Glass

Windows set the color temperature of every fabric decision in the sanctuary. We help with stained glass restoration and new windows inside the same design plan as your pews, paint, and floor.

Church Stained Glass

Is this the right fit?

Who church stained glass work is for

Light coming through the glass lands on the pews, the floor, and the walls. Change one without thinking about the others and the room can look wrong.

  • Churches with older stained glass that needs attention
  • Sanctuaries adding or replacing windows
  • Renovations where new pew fabric and paint have to work with existing glass
  • Projects where glass needs protecting while painting and flooring go on

Wall color is chosen with the glass in mind, which is why we plan church painting alongside it.

What’s included

What’s included in our stained glass service

  • Stained glass restoration and new work
  • Specified with pew fabric and wall color
  • Coordinated with interior design renderings
  • Protective work during painting and flooring

Process

How stained glass fits into your sanctuary plan

  1. Look at the glass and the light

We look at the existing windows and how daylight falls across the room.

  2. Plan colors around it

Pew fabric and wall color are chosen with the glass, and renderings can show wall color against your actual windows.

  3. Protect during the work

Windows are protected while painting and flooring happen.

  4. Restore or add glass

Restoration or new windows are scheduled as part of the same project, so the room comes together at once.

Planning checklist

Custom vs. pre-built stained glass, and what drives cost

  • Custom glass tells your story. It can portray your own scenes and imagery, and it will be uniquely yours.

  • Detail drives the work. Intricate designs and certain colors take more time and cost more.

  • Installation varies. Glass can be sealed over existing traditional glass, or set into a new frame.

Before you call

Planning glass with fabric and paint

  • Windows set the color of every fabric. Plan glass with pew cloth and wall color in the same conversation.

  • Custom or pre-built. Custom is uniquely yours. Pre-built is made to fit your window sizes and is usually the faster path.

  • Protect glass during other work. Painting and flooring go on with the windows covered. That protection is part of the plan.

  • Keep early talk at planning level. Wait on restoration or new-window decisions until photos and measurements are in hand.

Yes. Stained glass restoration is part of the service, along with new work.

Can we see our wall color next to our glass first?

Yes. Masterpiece renderings include wall color against your actual glass.

Is the glass protected during painting and flooring?

Yes. Protective work is part of the job while other trades are in the room.

Custom or pre-built glass?

Custom glass is uniquely yours and can show your own scenes. Pre-built glass is made to fit your window sizes and is the simpler route. We’ll talk through which fits your room.
